Here is an old and falling apart model kit I built way back in the start of the eigties! The model shown here is my SECOND build, the first one I scrapped because I had an idea of placing lights within the model kit after seen the movie "Empire Strikes Back". After seeing the movie several times (who didn't?) and memorizing the light placements, I set off to do (at that time) the impossible. Make everything light up and make the power source INTERNAL! After almost 30 years, I had to replace a switch, and a light source went out for the cockpit, and my landing ramp remains UNFINISHED. To access the internals means cutting the model panels apart! I will add another video one day, once I finish the landing ramp....... one day......
